THE ART (OR SCIENCE) OF THE PERFECT LATTE


I like my coffee to taste like ice cream. My perfect latte gets a "dash" of sugar (or maple syrup - trust me, it's amazing) and steamed milk poured with great finesse into a swan or an elaborate rosetta or something. There is a certain gratification in making/drinking the perfect caffeinated concoction. Even if it takes me forever.

If you enjoy a good latte as much as I do, you may be in luck. The caffeine might be good for your liver. It may reduce the risk of tinnitus (ringing in the ears). Or improve your memory. Or you might just get a nice kick of anxiety with your latte. I think I'll take my chances with my sugary afternoon treat.
