A NEUTRON WALKS INTO A BAR...

...and asks the bartender, "How much for a drink?" The bartender says, "For you, no charge!" Pssht, and you didn't think scientists could be witty. Yesterday, on April Fool's Day 2015, scientists pulled a fast one on the general public. Actually, several fast ones:

- NASA scientists reported strange recordings of the fire-and-brimstone-variety from the surface of Mercury. Which is weird because Venus was long-expected to be the underworld of the Solar System.

- Scientists at the Large Hadron Collider verified the existence of the Force. As in, the Force. Not all researchers at CERN were impressed by this finding though (looking at you, dark matter researcher Dave Vader).

- Google programmers announced that Pac-Man is running amok through the streets of Google Maps. Nice, you can snack on some Nerf snack darts while you play.

Happy April Fool's Day!
